“Olympic Mass Start” Reynolds 531 Double-Butted Road Frame from the 1960s.

Lustrous British Racing Green with all the lugs lined in gold. It comes complete with a  good Tange Levin vintage headset. It has the original metal Carpenter headbadge.

F.H. Carpenter Cycles, amongst the best known British frame builders were world renowned for their hand-built frames using the traditional methods to create frames that were recognised worldwide for the quality of workmanship, accuracy of construction and beautiful long lasting finish.

This particular frame is constructed with fine, neat brazing and lugwork that were a hallmark of this framebuilder. The frame has a flat fork crown, scalloped seatstay eyes, curved rear brake bridge and forged Campagnolo dropouts.
