This bike was my wife’s grandad’s. He bought it from new in the 50’s (he was actively racing in hill climb events in the early 50’s).

• 25″ Reynolds 531 frame
• Original Brooks Swallow saddle
• Huret – Tour De France rear and front derailler with double downshaft gear lever
• Dunlop special lightweight 27 x 1 1/4 rims on BHC ‘defiance’ hubs
• GB Hiduminium side pull brakes.

Since renovated by Mark Powell and purchased by Chris Clovelly:

Twin pivot brake callipers. GB Syncron?

BH Airlite hubs.

8 speed rear mech

Headbadge is now transfer, not pressed brass. This was in use April-July 1952
