I have been contacted by a gentleman who has had a Carpenter fixed wheel road bike given to him by his old friend’s widow. I don’t know the exact history but I believe the gentleman who owned it bought in from new in the 50’s. It had been stored in a garage for at least 10 years and needs some tlc but it’s all there and looks very original to me.
