Purchased from Leon Geriat after we were put in touch by Peter Underwood. Awaiting full rebuild to ’38 Catalogue spec.
This ‘531’ frame is 21.75″ pilot and stoker, 72 degree seat tube angles, 74 degree head tube.
Chain stay has braze-ons for a Cyclo gear which will be fitted (possibly mated to a SA K6 hub). Original Chater-Lea tandem chainset and clip-type headset will be refitted. Resilion brakes to be figured out, Airlight tandem hubs and steel Endrick rims to be sourced.
Frame restoration, replating, re-enamelling – Argos Racing Cycles, Bristol. Note s/s plating of rear dropouts – not authentic, but practical! Decals – H Lloyds Cycles, Penrith. Original head badge.
